One of the things I enjoy is collecting quotes of Christians from varying time periods. I love to hear what great individuals have said who have accomplished great things, but I focus on Christians that have walked in wisdom and with a clear vision of truth. They spur me on in my own walk with the Lord. Even when the author is unknown, his/her words are a reflection and window into their heart. The Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Words can be like a light to us on a dark path. In our own walk of the narrow path, it is beneficial and wise to study the lives of those who have traveled before us. We can save ourselves much grief by listening to the warnings and experiences of these people. Enjoy gleaming from the hearts of these wise men and women.
